Wedding DJ Manchester – Introducing a Bride and Groom

Greetings and Welcome to Wedding DJ Manchester - tips on Introducing a Bride and Groom

Although, it says I am a Wedding DJ Manchester I also arrange DJ in all areas of the North West England.

Anything I write is just my opinion and how I operate only. If you manage to get some useful tips and tricks from me then fantastic that’s what I hoped to achieve. If you're not convinced or not interested then that’s fine too. You may do what you want to do. But, along with this, you may attach my glue (tips)

Now, introducing a Bride and Groom has changed over the years simply because the Americans have had some influence in the early 90's about the way it should and shouldn’t be done.

First off the trend of introducing the Bride and Groom in today’s terms usually means just introducing them to the cutting of the cake or the first dance. This is the basic requirement that all Mobile DJ's should know but you know what their might be a better or more impressive way to do it.

You want to get before the event names and traditionally its order as they would go down the isle. Make sure the names are correctly spelled and a big big part of that is also making sure you can pronounce the names and if you're unsure don’t be afraid to ask, because although it might seem a stupid question you would look even more stupid getting it wrong on the wedding reception and you don’t want to get it wrong because the likelihood is one of the people your introducing is paying you do you really don’t want to get it wrong. Today there is really no traditions anymore as people do it the way they want to. But make sure, you tell your client they need to be introduced during the evening and I need the information as soon as possible. However I have had the introductions five minutes before I am to introduce them which is not ideal but as you should know is not a problem.

Very important when the wedding reception starts you want to bring them in and introduce them which sets the tone for the rest of the evening. I do this by getting all the guests inside the room I have set my equipment in and then introduce the bridal party to everyone with a big cheer and gets everyone on a high as they have had some excitement bringing them into the evening reception.
